Vulture Gunship Conversion

Ok, this is a relatively easy conversion, but it was bar none the longest conversion I have ever spent my time to make, but god was it worth it. Really its still not finished as I still need one more Hunter Killer (the new HKs, not the old stubby things) to make the second set of 3 for the other wing.

One thing to note, I’m a very unconventional man when it comes to the Materials I use in my convertions…..I literally use anything lying around the house…..but I’ll put in suggestions to the materials you could use.

Harakoni Warhawks List

Ok, as i said in the introduction i was going to start a Harakoni Warhawks army which is based more on their fluff as described in the 4th ed codex.

But before i can start i have to know what weapon types i would need for the troopers to make them effective against more than one army, while still making it Fluffy. And as is tradition, i seem to find, it is customary to write a List.

Introductions

Well, i suppose i best introduce myself.

The name is Death Korps of War (very original i know), and this blog is more or less just where i will be placing my future Guard conversions, terrain builds, and, if i can be bothered, painting.
The reason im starting this is, 1) its always nice to get some feedback on your work (good is always best, but bad is always necessary so as i can improve future projects) and 2) my ideas may give you people something to try out on your own Guard armies, or spark an idea in your head for terrain building.

For the moment however, i am going to soon start creating a 2000pts Harakoni Warhawks army (a small Veteran Force). Always wanted to do a Harakoni army that looked, and acted, exactly like the ones in the picture in the 4th ed Codex, but never had the resources.......till now.

Another thing i intend to do is build a full playing board based around Trench Warfare. I've always been facsinated with Trench Warfare ever since i learned about WW1, and since reading through the Imperial Armour: Siege of Vraks books i've always wanted to recreate the terrain depicted in those books.
And now since my Gaming Club is hosting a Terrain building competition it gives me an incentive to build one. I may not win, but it gives the club something else to play with.
